“Meghan created a portrait of my three children that brings a favorite memory of mine to life every time I look at her painting. I’ve yet to have a guest over who hasn’t commented on the beauty and joy she captured. The colors, textures, and extraordinary attention to detail show how much care she puts into her work and illuminates my children and the love they were made for in a way words and photographs can’t.”

“Meghan’s painting of my dog-child Rudy is gorgeous and perfect in every way, just like its subject. Her work captures his essence, which again, is ‘perfect’. She put so much love and care into the portrait and it brings me and those who see it so much joy. If I had a dollar for every time someone said “omg that is an amazing portrait of Rudy” I could retire.”

“I am fortunate enough to possess several of Meghan’s prints and a few originals in my home. My husband and I enjoy supporting up-and-coming young artists, and Meghan possesses a refreshing new talent in her unique use of line and color to express her personal perspective on her subjects. Her portraits are especially striking; we often get compliments from visitors on the powerful expressions she is able to capture, almost as if the models themselves peer out of the canvas. I look forward to expanding our collection of Meghan’s works as she continues to develop her promising career.”

  • Meet the artist

Meghan is a visual artist specializing in acrylic and oil painting. She grew up in Miami, FL and has spent the last 10 years in Brooklyn, NY. Inspiration from both cities is visible in the vibrant colors and bold style depicted throughout her work.

Her art is inspired by the full spectrum of the human experience and finding ways to turn pain into power. Life can feel like a trainwreck and a miracle—often simultaneously—and both are worth acknowledging. Her paintings document the lows as a form of healing, the highs as a form of gratitude, and everything in between as a celebration of the beauty in the mundane. She uses vibrant colors and bold contrasts to grab your attention, pull you in, and invite you to slow down.
